I trained as an osteopath at the European School of Osteopathy, where I completed my masters degree after years of hands-on clinical training. I’ve always believed the body is remarkable and, most of the time, it can heal itself. When it doesn’t, my job is to figure out why - to find the “maintaining factors” that keep problems from settling down. That’s why I put so much value on examination and explanation. I want you to leave each session not just feeling better, but also with a clearer sense of what’s really going on.
Osteopathy appealed to me because of the longer appointment times. I like getting to know the people I work with - partly because I enjoy it, and partly because the best results come when I understand what matters most to you.
Prior to university I worked in community pharmacy, before teaching music online during the pandemic. Outside the clinic I train in judo and Brazilian jiu-jitsu, and I’ve also spent time in kickboxing and track athletics. I’m currently taking singing lessons too; but I won’t be practicing in the clinic!
Even though I’ve graduated, the learning hasn’t stopped. I’m continuing to study and develop, and I’m currently working towards joining the Faculty of Sport and Exercise Medicine to broaden my skills even further.
