Frequently asked questions.
What are your prices?
My first session with you is 60 minutes long and costs £79. Follow-up sessions are 30 minutes and cost £49.
How many sessions will I need?
It really depends on what’s going on. Some people feel much better after just one or two treatments, especially if the problem is recent. If it’s something more long-term or complex, it might take a course of sessions to make a lasting change. I’ll always be upfront with you about what I think is realistic, and I won’t keep you coming back if it’s not needed.
What should I wear to my appointment?
Anything you’re comfortable moving around in. Gym kit is great, but loose everyday clothes work fine too. Sometimes I’ll need to see or work on a specific area of your body, so I might ask you to move or adjust clothing a little, but I’ll always explain why and make sure you’re comfortable with it.
Do you treat children?
Yes, I treat children from the age of 5. The techniques I use are always adapted to the person in front of me. For children, the approach is usually gentler and more supportive, but the goal is the same—helping the body move better and easing pain safely.
What’s the difference between an osteopath, chiropractor, and physiotherapist?
I have a lot of respect for chiropractors and physiotherapists. The main differences are in the training and the way each profession traditionally approaches treatment. I chose osteopathy because appointments are usually longer, and we’re trained in a wider range of hands-on techniques. That gives me a big toolbox to draw from, but in the end what matters is tailoring the treatment to your specific needs.
Can I have treatment if I’m pregnant?
Yes, I treat pregnant women safely and gently throughout all stages of pregnancy. Osteopathy can help relieve back, pelvic, and joint pain as your body changes. I always adapt treatment to suit your stage of pregnancy, avoid pressure on your abdomen, and make sure you’re comfortable in supported positions. If needed, I’ll also liaise with your midwife or GP to ensure the best care for you and your baby.
